Lily Bump is a Brooklyn based ceramicist and visual media artist. She received her BFA in Visual Media Arts from Emerson College, where she graduated in January 2019. Lily has been working with clay for over a decade, and currently works as the Studio Manager for William Coggin Ceramics.
Her work consists of functional tableware, ceramic furniture and sculptural objects. Her process derives from an appreciation for clay’s grounding abilities, showcased in her affinity for atmospheric firing methods and hand-built craftsmanship.
